AMERICA GOD'S COUNTRY

Romans 1:16-32 16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. 18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; 19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. 24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. 26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

We might have been God’s country at one time. Though we were given the truth of God, through His Holy Scripture, we have created ourselves our own god, within religion; because we no longer seek diligently after God (Heb 11:6), because we rather care for the cares and riches of this world than for God (Matt 13:22; 1 John 2:15).

God has turned us over, and America is now a curse. While some may not like this fact, it remains and is recorded as so within Holy Scripture; if it sounds like a pig, it’s a pig.

JUDGING BY GOD’S GRACE

I think back to when I was living for Satan: all those things I done wrong and I still see God’s grace that spared me from many things; including death.

When we look at the children of Israel; the example given when they were freed from Egypt, we see God protecting them and providing for them. He did so many good things for them; yet, was the Grace He shown them a sign of they're doing things right? Absolutely not.

I talk to many people, and they all seem to judge themselves by other people, or by the Grace God has shown them. They say, “The Lord is blessing me, I must be doing something right”. Once, when I had something big go my way, my employer said, “Your good living is paying off”. Because of YHWH sparing the life of a man, I heard someone say about him, “Try to tell him that what he is doing is wrong”.

2 Corinthians 10:12 (KJV) 12 For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.
One of the most dangerous things we can do is compare ourselves among ourselves, or with the Grace God has shown in His protection over or providing for us. In this Laodicea age, we think we are rich and don’t know that we are not (Rev 3:17). We think we are rich, because we judge ourselves based on the Grace God has given. We don’t know we are poor because we compare ourselves with those around us; who are also judging themselves on God Grace. The problem is, like the children of Israel during the Exodus from Egypt, and wandering in the desert, we are NOT doing it right: we are called a harlot of the whore for a reason (Rev 17:5).

Because we appear to be a blessed nation, because we appear to be blessed personally, because we see a few wondrous signs from God, we base our “richness” upon this Grace. Yet, understanding all the Grace which God provided Israel, I dare to say far more than we see in our lives, they still did not reach the promised land. Because of the murmuring, lack of faith, and all around rebellious attitude against what God had told them, they were kept from that glorious land. When I look at the condition of the church today, I see a direct parallel with Israel of then.

Understanding that the Old Testament is an example of where we are now, should we really be judging ourselves based on Grace? Do we dare think that God will put up with our rebellious behavior all the way to Heaven? OR, should we judge ourselves based on Scripture, for it’s the Word, the warning from God on what He desires from us? It is by the Word we are judged, it’s the Word of God which must stand; and it tells us how to live for and how to respond to God.

DEATH PENALTY FOR BREAKING SABBATH?

Numbers 15:32, 35 “32 And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man that gathered sticks upon the sabbath day.
35 And the LORD said unto Moses, The man shall be surely put to death:”

There is much confusion about the differences in the Old Testament period and the period in which we live. People mock the Holy Bible, saying we should not teach from it; because of the extreme recourses that was required by God during that time. Read More…

DEFINING MOMENT

Happy Sabbath everyone. I would like to show you an interesting fact based around two definitions and the importance of it.

1 The definition of discipline is:

the practice of training people to obey rules or a code of behavior
the controlled behavior resulting from such training
activity or experience that provides mental or physical training
a system of rules of conduct
a branch of knowledge, typically one studied in higher education

The root word of discipline comes from the Latin word “discipulus” Read More…
