ORDINATIONS

When a person goes to a seminary, once graduated, they get a ordination proclaiming their pastoral office. There are institutions that hand out ordinations and even some churches. With an ordination a person can legally officiate marriage ceremonies and preach funerals; actions that require a government acceptance of the office of minister for government forms. Some denominations require ordination for certain offices within the church; especially any pastoral office. Yet, other than man requiring it, an ordination is not needed to preach the Gospel of Christ or to hold the office of pastor in a church.

Where did the practice come from? Actually, it's been going on for centuries; yet they were not always called a certificate of ordination.

CHURCH VIEW

I believe that one thing that has hurt the church in the past several decades is the fact that the church is viewed as a building or institution. Though we know the truth and proclaim the truth that the church is the body of Christ, a group of people, we act like and communicate like the church is a building, or an institution. We understand that this is our mindset because of the ways we present the church. Read More…

FIRE!!!!

I was born in PA but raised most of my life in a small town in TN. I was raised with waitress’ calling you “honey” and “dear”. In the south, there is a certain politeness that is not found in many other areas of the country; and that was especially true during my youth.

I remember once, as a child, my dad confronted a server about our rude service. He asked her if he needs to talk to her manager. She said, “I am the manager”. I remember this about my dad. He never said it but he seemed to operate under the belief that we can take our money anywhere for what we are purchases; therefore, I want good service from where I go. Read More…

DESPERATION IN PRAYER

In Luke 11:2, Y’shua said to start our prayer, “Our Father”. When we look at Christ’s prayer life, we see Him praying in the beginning of His ministry (Luke 3:21-22; Luke 4:1-2), before He called His disciples (Luke 6:12-13), at various times - for a time alone with the Father (Luke 5:15-16), and for strength for others (Luke 22:31-32). We see Christ telling His disciples to pray to avoid temptation (Luke 22:40, 46). Luke records the prayer life of Christ, and he does so by showing the need of prayer to Y’shua from the beginning of His ministry unto His last breath (Luke 23:46). Read More…

SS UNITED STATES

In the early 1950’s the United States Navy and United States Lines commissioned the SS United States. It was a 78 million dollar ship built to convert to a 15 thousand troop carrier for the Navy. It was the fastest and most reliable troop carrier in the world. It could go 10 thousand miles without having to stop for fuel or supplies. It could outrun any other ship. It could go anywhere in the world in less than 10 days. The only catch is... it never carried any troops. It was put on standby once during the Cuban missile crisis but it was never used, in it’s capacity, by the military. Instead, it became known as a luxury liner for presidents, heads of states, and celebrities.

As a luxury liner, the ship could not carry 15 thousand troops. Instead, just under 2 thousand passengers could enjoy the luxuries of 695 state rooms, 4 dining salons, 3 bars, 2 theaters, 5 acres of open deck with a heated pool, 19 elevators, and the comfort of the worlds first fully air conditioned passenger ship. 13 CONTRASTS BETWEEN AMERICAN AND BIBLICAL CHRISTIANITY

An article was just released that echo’s two things that I’ve been shouting warnings about:
1. You need to learn how to properly study Scripture; because the American Gospel as a whole is filled with lies and deception.
2. Revelation is about persecution of the people of God.

Revelation first warns us of a religious power that arose out of Old Rome and would persecute the saints physically. Revelation warns us second about a religious christian looking empire that would arise from the vastness of the land and speak lies. Revelation 13 warns us that this empire would bring fire from heaven; which is a false spirit or gospel. It’s by this false spirit that the saints will be conquered through deception. Through this deception the people would build an image and that image will be worshiped by all the world. I’ve sounded warnings that the image is the American Dream of security and prosperity. 10 JUDGMENTS OF Y'SHUA

The following are a list of ten things which Christ confronts the modern church of. This comes from a great article which you can see by clicking the link below. The article goes into each point with greater detail. Worth a read - More than worth a self-examination on.

If we are not moving forward, trying to present ourselves more like Christ, we are standing still. If we are standing still, we are moving away. There’s only one of two directions - toward God or away from God. Read More…

MUSIC, DONUTS, AND CHRIST

Around the corner from our house is a church who, a couple years ago, was advertising to join them for service with good music, donuts and coffee, and Christ. I thought that was an odd order to place those in.

And so it was, when those bearing the ark of the Lord had gone six paces, that he sacrificed oxen and fatted sheep. 14 Then David danced before the Lord with all his might; and David was wearing a linen ephod. 15 So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the Lord with shouting and with the sound of the trumpet

If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, does he not leave the ninety- nine and go to the mountains to seek the one that is straying? 13 And if he should find it, assuredly, I say to you, he rejoices more over that sheep than over the ninety- nine that did not go astray. 14 Even so it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish

COULD LAODICEA REALLY BE TODAY?

Colossians 2:1 1 For I want you to know what a great conflict I have for you and those in Laodicea, and for as many as have not seen my face in the flesh,

Colossians 4:13 13 For I bear him witness that he has a great zeal for you, and those who are in Laodicea, and those in Hierapolis.

Colossians 4:15-16 15 Greet the brethren who are in Laodicea, and Nymphas and the church that is in his house. 16 Now when this epistle is read among you, see that it is read also in the church of the Laodiceans, and that you likewise read the epistle from Laodicea.

Sounds like, in the time of this letter from Paul, the church of Laodicea was doing pretty good in their walk - a healthy and legitimate church. But, by the time Revelation was written (about 25 years later), their hearts no longer belonged to God - despite the fact that they were still active as a church. Their church was prospering, and they didn’t seem to be experiencing any real persecution. They were comfortable and proud. Sound familiar?

COMMANDMENTS REPLACE / GOING TO HEAVEN WHILE STILL KNOWINGLY SINNING

I was recently asked a question behind the wall. We've looked at these two subjects before but, since we have new people in our family, I'm going to post the response again.

Were the Ten Commandments replaced and will we still get to Heaven if we continue to sin but God see's the struggle?

Before the posted response, I told them that we are to work out our Salvation with fear and trembling. Whether one get's to Heaven is between a person and God; but here's what Holy Scripture says about the Ten Commandments and continuing in sin that we are aware of.

BIBLICAL EXAMINATION OF LAODICEA PEOPLE? - PART 19/19

A Self-Examination so that we can come into a closer walk that God desires us to be at.

LUKEWARM PEOPLE probably drink and swear less than average, but besides that, they really are not very different from your typical unbeliever. They equate their partially sanitized lives with holiness, but they couldn't be more wrong. They dress in the same lustful manner as the world. They focus their desires on the things of the world. They devote their time to the things of world. In all truth, when seeing the looks and actions of both in the secular environment, it's extremely difficult to tell the difference between a lukewarm person and a person of the world.

Matthew 23:25-28
25 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you cleanse the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of extortion and self-indulgence. 26 Blind Pharisee, first cleanse the inside of the cup and dish, that the outside of them may be clean also. 27 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which indeed appear beautiful outwardly, but inside are full of dead men's bones and all uncleanness. 28 Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.

BIBLICAL EXAMINATION OF LAODICEA PEOPLE? - PART 18/19

A Self-Examination so that we can come into a closer walk that God desires us to be at.

LUKEWARM PEOPLE structure their lives so that they never have to live by faith. They don't have to trust God if something unexpected happens - they trust their savings account. They don't need God to help them - they have their retirement plan (and don't have faith in God if social security were to fail). They don't seek after a life that God would have them live - they have life planned. They don't depend on God on a daily basis - their refrigerators are full and, for the most part, they are in good health. The truth is, their lives wouldn't look much different if they suddenly stopped believing in God.

Luke 12:16-21
16 Then He spoke a parable to them, saying: "The ground of a certain rich man yielded plentifully. 17 And he thought within himself, saying, 'What shall I do, since I have no room to store my crops?' 18 So he said, 'I will do this: I will pull down my barns and build greater, and there I will store all my crops and my goods. 19 And I will say to my soul, "Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years; take your ease; eat, drink, and be merry." ' 20 But God said to him, 'Fool! This night your soul will be required of you; then whose will those things be which you have provided?' 21 So is he who lays up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God."

A Self-Examination so that we can come into a closer walk that God desires us to be at.

LUKEWARM PEOPLE think about life on earth far more often that life in Heaven. They see this life as life, and often forget that we are just passing through (at least until life comes closer to it's end). Daily life is more focused on what they need to do each day, each week, watch month, and the things desired. Rarely, if ever, do their actions show that they consider the life to come.

Philippians 3:18-20
18 For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: 19 whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame--who set their mind on earthly things. 20 For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,

Colossians 3:2
2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth.

Luke 18:21-25

Sell all that you have and distribute to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me." 23 But when he heard this, he became very sorrowful, for he was very rich. 24 And when Jesus saw that he became very sorrowful, He said, "How hard it is for those who have riches to enter the kingdom of God! 25 For it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God."

Their love of others is focused on those who love them in return; and there is little love left over for those who can't love them back. There is especially no love for those who intentionally hurt them, whose children are better athletes, with who has a nicer car, or with those that conversations are awkward or uncomfortable. Luke 9:57-62

BIBLICAL EXAMINATION OF LAODICEA PEOPLE? - PART 1/19

A Self-Examination so that we can come into a closer walk that God desires us to be at.

Philippians 1:27 says to conduct ourselves in a manner that is worthy of the Gospel. Have you ever really thought about that? If your like me, it has not been that often, if at all. Conduct ourselves, which is the way we act, the way we treat others, and the way we treat God. We are to Conduct ourselves so that it measures up (worthy or worth) to the Gospel of Christ.

In 1 Corinthians 13:5 Paul says to examine ourselves to be sure we are in the faith. Too often, actually almost all the time, we tend to judge ourselves with the world and we become satisfied with where we are; but is where we are where God desires us? The New Testament is full of examples of people who were satisfied with where they were but they were not where God wanted them. In Matthew 7 Y'shua said that there will be many who cry Lord, Lord, but they will not make it. These are those who are satisfied with themselves. Read More…

PERILOUS TIMES

"It is not scientific doubt, not atheism, not pantheism, not agnosticism, that in our day and in this land is likely to quench the light of the Gospel. It is a proud, sensuous, selfish, luxurious, church-going, hollow-hearted, prosperity"
- Frederic D. Huntington, Forum magazine, 1890

2 Timothy 3:1-5
1 But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: 2 For men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, 3 unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, 4 traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, 5 having a form of godliness but denying its power. WHAT ARE WE THINKING?

I'm completely confused and amazed!! How a generation of church goers who know Hell is real, know that few will find the path; know that many who think they are going are not (because they did not do the will of the Father), that the generation is lukewarm, that they will have a form of godliness but lack the power of godliness. Yet still, they put their trust of their eternal life into the hands of a pastor, denomination, or evangelist and never pick up the Bible to study why these things will be and if their life just may be that one in error: they only pick up the Bible to follow along with their "trusted pastor" in what he tells them is the truth.

Who's to say your pastor, denomination, or evangelist is not one of those who will be crying "Lord Lord"? Thus then we have a blind leading the blind because virtually everyone in this generation merely follows the leader of another man rather than Holy Scripture itself.

I pray that we all would be moved to study Scripture, have a desire for Christ to the point we seek diligently after Him; and follow His ways.

GIVE THEM SOME ICE CREAM!!

Anyone who has ever raised a child has had the moment; that moment when your deep into something and you look over just to see your child trying to mimic your every move. They way they are sitting, the legs crossed, they way they are propping their head, etc. There’s a feeling that comes over you, that this child looks up to you so much that they want to mimic everything about you. There’s a certain level of pride that comes to you and you think, “Let’s go get some ice cream!” The child did not mimic you in efforts to get a prize, they just loved you so much that they wanted to mimic you; but you don’t care, you want to get them some ice cream anyway.

I don’t want to try and say the right sermon, sing the right song, pray the right way, to get the “Ice Cream” from God; His Spirit. I want to have my love for Him at a level that makes me want to mimic Him; not for His Spirit, but just because I look up to Him so much. In the process, I do want Him to be so proud that He is compelled to give me the “Ice Cream” anyway

WHY REVIVAL?

We're looking for revival; Why? Is it so we can have a wonderful feeling, so we can have things; is it so we can do wondrous things? For what purpose do we seek revival: for our glory? Are these things a revival? Are we revived by the things Y'shua can do for us? What is the purpose of reviving? We say we want the Kingdom of YHWH to come; here and now. For what do we think the Kingdom is? YHWH gave all, Y'shua gave up all so that at least one could be saved. If you were the only one, He would have still done it: THIS is the Kingdom of Elohim. What more must be done to stir His people? What greater service, what greater wonder do we need, to give what we have for one soul to be saved? For this is the Kingdom of Elohim. If we are unwilling to give up the worldly cares for the gain of one soul: if we are unwilling to step out of the world in Name of Messiah Y'shua, for the Kingdom, we will not obtain revival in Adonai. You must seek a revival in you, this you have control of: YHWH seeks a revival within His Kingdom, this you also have control of. Which would you rather seek, that which benefits you, or the Kingdom? The things that benefit you are the pleasures of this short life. The things that benefit the Kingdom is the work that builds that Kingdom. Do you not know that revival of the Kingdom brings a revival of you? Nehamiah built a wall in record time by having each person work on their section of wall. The Kingdom of Elohim and a revival can explode by each person working on their section of souls which they have contact with. Revival is up to you and how hard you work at it.

OUR MONEY IS CURSED BECAUSE...

The most popular teaching today is a Grace only teaching. Religion teaches to merely have faith in the sacrifice of Christ and we are saved. Religion teaches that there is no need to clean ourselves, or to live a life of righteousness and godliness, because we can not do it. Yet, scripture paints a totally different picture (Titus 2:11-14; Romans 6:3-6, 12-16...).

Many have heard me refer to the US as having the spirit of Sodom. We have even allowed sexual immoralities into our churches; along with a gluttonous living, idleness, and few do anything to help those in need. God is sending the US a warning. Bear with me through this, and I’ll explain, by scripture, why I believe this is a warning to the US. Read More…

AMERICA GOD'S COUNTRY

Romans 1:16-32 16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. 18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; 19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. 20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: 21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, 23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. 24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: 25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. 26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

We might have been God’s country at one time. Though we were given the truth of God, through His Holy Scripture, we have created ourselves our own god, within religion; because we no longer seek diligently after God (Heb 11:6), because we rather care for the cares and riches of this world than for God (Matt 13:22; 1 John 2:15).

God has turned us over, and America is now a curse. While some may not like this fact, it remains and is recorded as so within Holy Scripture; if it sounds like a pig, it’s a pig.

NEW RELIGION

One day, my wife was listening to a large syndicated christian radio station called “FISH”. A caller called in with a dilemma: they had a previous promise made to their church, to attend and assist in a possible soul winning event; but, they also had tickets to a big playoff game for the same day. They really did not want to miss the game and did not know how to get out of their commitment at church. The host’s at FISH said to go to the game, “God will understand”.

Attached is an interesting article. In it, it talks about how sports is a new religion. We know we can not serve two masters, but professing christians would dare not miss a game of jr’s or of a big team; while happily missing time spent with Adonai. Read More…

LIKE A CHILD

Have you ever sat back and reviewed and wondered about the fading light from initial dedication to where you are now? What I mean is, when a person first comes to Y’shua, I mean really comes, their life is on fire; you may even see Elohim perform many wonders through this babe in Christ. Then, as time goes, that fire fades, and with it so does YHWH’s show of power. What happened: where did it go?

The foundation is “FAITH”; yet, most people think faith is just believing, but faith is far more than that (James 2:19-20). When we read the context of Holy Scripture, we understand “FAITH” is the act of believing so much that you will do something that, in human logic, is stupid. Noah built an ark on dry land, Abraham packed up and moved without knowing where to go, Abraham also believed in having a child then set to sacrifice the very child that was suppose to make him the father of many nations (Heb 11). These are actions which are stupid, by human logic: that is “FAITH”

When one is brought to the truth of, and starts a walk in, Christ, they have full faith; though that faith is not much, they walk in what they have. I’ve heard it said, “The problem is when they get ‘religion’”. That’s true, but the surface answer to the problem.

“Religion” was passed down from the “mother whore” and right into protestantism. The “son of perdition” was revealed in 538 AD; which means the falling away started then: it’s in full bloom now. The problem comes into the “light”. If they read their Bible, as a babe grows they are fed both “light” and “religion”. When they question religion based on the light, they are told it’s wrong. Once we start refusing the light for religion or our own desires, that light starts to fade. When we refuse the light, which guides us to righteousness, YHWH will allow us to believe a lie (2 Thes 2:9-12). When we refuse to follow the light we loose faith, in not following Y’shua, even if it’s humanly stupid; we walk in darkness and know not where we go (John 12:35-36); we believe a lie, we walk in unrighteousness, it becomes rebellion. Y’shua can not work through rebellion.

Some of this light may be big Biblical truths as we are to stop sinning (John 5:14). Some light may be little beams; but, if we can not be trusted with little, how can He give us more (Luke 16:10-13)? I’ve talked to people who know the truth on the food we eat (Isaiah 66:15-17), yet continue to eat that which we were told not to. I’ve talked to MANY pastors who say they know the truth about Sabbath (Heb 4:8-10, 4), yet teach the wrong day because they worry about repercussion. This is rebellion; and, when purposely teaching incorrect doctrine of God’s Word, it’s a premeditated teaching in contradiction, in opposition, to the Holy Scriptures and the Words of YHWH: He can not work with this, it is a lukewarm condition.

While everyone will have error, let that error be just that... error. When we know the truth, we are required to live in and teach that truth; otherwise, we are teaching the teachings of anti-christ (1 Tim 6:3-5; 2 Cor 11:4; 2 John 1:7-10).

LESSON LEARNED

Tuesday (4/2/13) was the last day of the Feast’s of Unleavened Bread. I would like to share what I learned from keeping this holiday.

This is the first time I went into this holiday planning on keeping it. While I knew of this holiday in the past, I saw it as a “Jewish” thing and really didn’t take it serious. YHWH showed me, just in time, the symbolism of leaven, thus I wanted to keep this holiday as a symbol of what He desires from His people.

We read in scripture that leaven symbolizes sin (Matt 16:6, 12; Mark 8:15; Luke 12:1; 1 Cor 5:6-8), so I went into this looking at leaven as sin: I was looking at how I treated it. For the better part, I did a pretty good job; but, that’s comparing my actions against my past (2 Cor 10:12). I like to compare with what God looks at.

I made some errors because there was leaven in things I never would have dreamed of, and didn’t even look. I cooked an organic TV dinner and ate it: I never looked. A couple days later, I cooked one at the house. While I was cooking it, my wife looks at the ingredients and says there yeast in it. The first time I “sinned”, it was out of ignorance: YHWH has Grace for a “sin” we don’t know of. Even though I knew the meal had yeast in it the second time, I still ate it: I did not want to throw it out. This is a rebellion, and for rebellion, there is no Grace given; not until we repent of that rebellion and stop doing the “sin”. Sometimes we mess up, we error if we look at it and say, “Might as well go all the way now, already messed up anyway”. This is not a good position. Once we understand the “sin” is there, we need to stop. I actually made this mistake twice. There is a really good example in the Holy Scriptures about sin by ignorance vs sin by rebellion, but for the sake of time, I’ll save that story for a near future writing.

I was in my truck and found a loaf of bread in a cubby. I didn’t investigate to see if it was bad, I just grabbed it and threw it away. This is the way we need to treat sin. We do not need to examine the sin, try to reason the sin, try to justify the sin, we need to just get rid of the sin (1 Jn 2:1; 5:18; 1 Cor 15:34; Acts 3:26; Titus 2:14; Rom 6:3-6, 12-13; Jn 3:36; Heb 5:9).

I heard of a person who ate some item with yeast in it. Their excuse was, “There can’t be much in there”. I believe this is the main issue in the church today, it’s only a little sin (Matt 13:33; 1 Cor 5:6-8; Matt 5:21-22, 27-28, 37). Yet we are warned not to be lukewarm (Rev 3:15-17): we are to remove the sin from our lives.

The Jew’s often give their leaven to a gentile friend, or sell it to them for a dollar, only to buy / get it back after the holiday. This would equal a repentance, but then turning back to the sin (Prov 26:11; 2 Peter 2:22; Luke 9:26). We should be willing to drop it, and leave it.

When I look at how I treated the yeast, and look at my life, I found a parallel. The way I treated the yeast is the way I treat sin in my life. It showed me what I needed to correct. My desire is to please my Adonai, and draw closer to Him (James 4:8). When I look at the way my wife treated the yeast, even though she knew it was in the food, as she found it, she ate it because I ate it. I see this as relative in her life, in the way she handled sin. When we were in the world, she would do something that was wrong, just because I wanted to do it. She is a strong woman, and when she points out sin, she needs to stand no matter what anyone else does. I’m sure the person who saw the yeast as just a little bit has an issue with looking at “little white lies” and the such. It’s up to them to examine their life and make corrections where it be; but, I wanted to point out these examples as it is very evident on the reasoning of why YHWH wanted us to keep this forever (Ex 12:14).

The way we deal with sin starts with our attitude about sin (Matt 15:19-20). There are some who, while knowing this holiday was happening and the symbolism it provides, absolutely refuse to follow the day: they refused to remove the leaven. Next to the little sin issue, this is the next big problem in professing christians today: they refuse to remove the sin from their lives and they don’t want to make any moves towards a better learning and closer walk with God. The unpardonable sin, is the sin one refuses to let go of.

There were some tasty foods that I ate, using unleavened bread. I made a really good pizza, which was only around 600 calories for a 10 inch square. I used it with cheese dip and it was just as good, if not better, than crackers I usually use. I spread peanut butter on it, just as tasty. Fact is, I may use unleavened bread more often. We often think that life just will not be as fulfilling unless there’s a little sin in it. After all, sin is fun right? Not really, a few moments of pleasure can bring hours of guilt; at the very least. I can have just as much fun without sin, as I THOUGHT I was having with sin. I just changed my priorities and learned some new delicacies in life. When you receive the new heart from Elohim, the new rational thought He gives, and you have that desire to walk after the example Y’shua gave, you find that sin no longer taste good.

I’m not sure if any other readers did this, but maybe you may think about doing it next year. I learned a great bit from it and didn’t miss the yeast a bit.

EASTER OR RESSURECTION SUNDAY

"O YHWH, my strength and my fortress. My refuge in the day of affliction, The Gentiles shall come to You from the ends of the earth and say, 'Surely our fathers have inherited lies, Worthlessness and unprofitable things.'" Jeremiah 16:19

Deception is a mixture of lie and truth. It's what makes deception as profitable as this day coming up: whether it be called "easter" or "resurrection sunday". We were passed many lies from the mother church, and the harlot continues in them (Rev 17)

On the wall, of the home I was raised in, hung a plaque with the saying, "As for me and my house, we will serve the LORD"; a wonderful saying, but in context says even more. Look this up, read it for yourself, in context; for I'm putting this in context by modern terms:

If it seems evil to you, to serve the LORD, then choose who else you will serve; whether the pagan gods of the past, or the pagan gods of today. But as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD. Joshua 24:15 Read More…

PINNACLE ANNIVERSARY

Just a little less than 2000 years ago, on this very day (not friday), Messiah Y'shua died for all those who are willing to enter into the Renewed Covenant with Him: this is Nisan 14.

This Holiday, which was set up by Elohim our Creator, is an eight day holiday starting with Passover day (today) then continues into seven more days (starting at sunset tonight) called the Feast's of Unleavened Bread. Exodus 12:15 records the instructions given, in which we are to eat unleavened bread for seven days. Why did I say we; was this not just for Israel? Christ and Paul showed and taught to keep this holiday (we'll get to this more in a moment). Read More…

"STOMP ON 'JESUS'"

Happy Sabbath everyone. I would like to voice my opinion on something that many seem not aware about. It recently has been revealed (in the article below) that some colleges use a text book which instructs students to write the name "Jesus" on a piece of paper then stomp on it: Yes, I said it right, it is a text book being used. In the article inclosed, we here of this text book because one student, from what would seem many, refused to do it. Because he found it offensive to HIS faith, the Christian faith, he went to the instructors supervisor. The supervisor then suspended the student. Read More…

THE HARLOT OF MOM

Revelation 17:5 “And upon her forehead was a name written, ‘Mystery, Babylon the great, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS and abominations of the Earth.’”
In Rev 17, we see a church (Ezk. 16:15-58; Hos. 2:5) riding a beast with seven heads. We know the seven heads represent the seven hills in which the city sits (Rev 17:9) which is Rome (city of seven hills). Therefore this church both sits in the city and controls the city; as the woman is riding (controlling) the beast.

There’s no secret to who this church is: what we are concentrating on is the “harlots”. We read this church in Rome is the “mother of harlots”: understanding this phrase, the harlots were birthed from the church in Rome. As obvious as it is on which church in Rome this passage is talking, it’s just as obvious on who the harlots are. Read More…

PLUGGING THE EARS

The faith of the majority of professing christians lay in the hands of a minister, or group of ministers of the same faith, who has told them what is real and what is not. Unfortunately, a greater error is made when they start studying the Holy Bible and refuse to listen to, or investigate, the teachings of someone else; just because they don’t teach what they have been instructed to believe. This was the error of the Israeli's, when the plugged their ears to the truth of Y'shua.

No one has all the light, no one knows the Holy Bible inside and out. Satan has sent wolves dressed as sheep. They’re typically not there, conspiring to deceive and lead people the wrong way. They’ve only been told what to believe, refused to listen to others who do not believe the same way, and pass that pattern down to the next generation. Read More…

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!

Many see God as a vengeful God of anger and punishment. They miss the fact that He gave His Son to die for us so we could live forever with Him; they miss this love.

On the same note, many professing the faith see God as one who does not care if we spend more time in the world than in His service, being witnessing and the likes. They have problems with rejection and ridicule, and the likes from fellow humans, not seeing this was promised to us. They too miss the love of God. For God came and was ridiculed and rejected by His creation so that, as many as will accept is proposal, they would be able to live eternally. They miss the heart of love that He does not one to perish. They know this fact, they’ve learned it, but they continue in the things of this world. Therefore, they have a form of godliness but they have not come to the knowledge of the truth (2 Timothy 3:5,7). The knowledge is not of the love of man in how we treat them, but more-so the love of man desiring that they can have eternal life. What good is it if we treat a man good in this world, yet let him perish without ever showing Him the truth of salvation? Is that love? I think not. If we are missing this love, we are missing the Heart of our God.

MY LIFE IS A WITNESS?

I was sitting in my truck last night when the man in the truck next to me tried to start his truck and it was dead. I looked over at me and I was eager to come give him a jump off. He did not think it would reach and I told him that I would drop the trailer if I had to. He said that was too much work, but I told him it’s worth it to get him going.

I got out my cables and hooked up the batteries, but I was not getting any juice. The cables don’t get used much so they were rusty. He was ready to call road service and I told him to hold off a moment, it will start. I cleaned the cables with a wire brush and we got a good connection.

After five minutes of charging, the truck would still not start. After a few choice words, the man said he’s going to have to call road service. I stayed calm and told him, give it five more minutes and it WILL start. Read More…

UNRAVELED

Matthew 19:24 (KJV) 24 And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.
I’ve always heard the explanation that the eye of the needle is an opening in the main gate of a city, and we must unpack our good’s to God to get through that needle. While this sounds all fine and dandy, we are missing what is being said because of a mistranslation in scripture and a reasoning to make it make sense.

In this passage, needle from the Greek is "rhaphis" which is an actual needle you sew with; NOT an entry way in a gate. This makes it sound like rich people are not going to heaven because it’s impossible to get a camel through an eye of a sewing needle. The reasoning happens by trying to make the events, prior to this saying, based around money. Read More…

WHEN WE ARE CONVERTED

In the book of Acts is the church to which Christ intended, yet we don't see that today. Those thing were a witness of the signs in which we should have following us who believe, but they are not following us in this Laodicean age. Laodicea has two problems: they think they are rich, which is to say rich in the things of God, being salvation from destruction and of knowledge of the things that are of the Kingdom of Adonai. The other problem is that they don't know. They don't know that they are wretched, which is to say, they don't compare themselves with the light of Christ but rather with each other; as Paul had said, "O wretched man that I am". They don't know they are naked, which is the sign of sinfulness. They don't know they are poor, which is to say they are not "saved" and do not have the knowledge of God. Read More…

GIVING IN "ABUNDANCE"

I’ve heard the sermon of the widow’s mite many times. The Lord showed me something that is vital to this lesson. Let’s look at what we are being told.

"41 And Jesus sat over against the treasury, and beheld how the people cast money into the treasury: and many that were rich cast in much. 42 And there came a certain poor widow, and she threw in two mites, which make a farthing. 43 And he called unto him his disciples, and saith unto them, Verily I say unto you, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury: 44 For all they did cast in of their abundance; but she of her want did cast in all that she had, even all her living." Mark 12:41-44 (KJV)

One obvious fact is Jesus is talking about giving since He compares the giving of one with the giving of others. Yet who are the others? It seems that everyone wants to compare the giving of the widow to that of the scribes and Pharisees. Shall the Pharisees stand with common people? No, they positioned themselves at the head, across from the people. Would the whole of the people be giving on this day or just the Pharisees and one widow? The whole of the people would be giving. Though it talks about the “rich casting in much”, we must not compare that with the “abundance” mentioned later. Also, most of the people of that day lived from day to day and did not have the “abundance” (as in a lot of stuff) of the Pharisees. It is these people who were also giving. Yet Jesus pointed out the widow. Read More…

WHERE EVER HE GOES

Many see me state often, we need a TRUE STUDY of God’s Word. Question is, define TRUE STUDY.

People who follow blindly, high profile people, are often called “sheeple”; which has become a derogatory term. Fact is, we don’t like being called sheep, yet this is what we are referred to many times in the Bible, even by Yeshua Himself.

Whether we like to admit it or not, we have a natural tendency to follow. Read More…

PARAPLEGIC GOD

Many say that God can change this country, He can change this world. Yet, God will never make anyone serve Him. He will not make the church witness, He will not make the church repent of their sinful ways, He will not make the church reach out, He will not make the church fight for Him, and He will not make the church study Him. We are the hands of God, but when we do not do what He says, His hands stop working. We leave Him in a state equal to a paraplegic God.

DARK DAYS OF LEARNING

The reformation started because of a sudden ability to research, learn, and reason.

The roman catholic church threw truth to the ground and buried the Word of God. When Constantinople fell, the Greek scholars, with the Greek text of the Bible, fled to Latin countries. The scholars started teaching in the universities of these Latin countries. While the roman catholic church controlled most everything, they let the learning institutions slip by. Read More…

RESEARCH, STUDY, CONCLUSION

Some people are upset because there are various schools looking at taking testing out of the class. Yet, schools no longer teach how to study, how to research, and how to come to a conclusion. This is why most home schooled children have a higher IQ score than corporately schooled children. Our schools merely tell the students what they want them to know and the students don’t study, they memorize answers for the test; only to forget those to memorize new ones for the next test.

The christian colleges and churches are not immune to this pattern of so called teaching. Depending on what college or church one goes to, they are taught the scripture based on the doctrine of belief of that college or church. Read More…

WHAT'S CHANGED?

2 Samuel 12:9 (KJV) 9 Wherefore hast thou despised the commandment of the LORD, to do evil in his sight? thou hast killed Uriah the Hittite with the sword, and hast taken his wife to be thy wife, and hast slain him with the sword of the children of Ammon.

Every pastor teaches from his writings. Every “christian” refers to him; sometimes only as an excuse of their own actions. What has changed? Is not still, the worst thing you could do to a friend is sleep with their girlfriend or wife? What about plotting to kill their friend because they slept with their girlfriend or wife? Read More…

EATING OUR OWN

Don't just read the headline and make a judgement of the story there, read the story. I think for most of the professing christians, who spent their fair share of time in the world, have forgotten what issues they had with "christianity"; I know I, being raised in church, in a pastors home, seeing and hearing of the junk that goes on in the church, I saw all "christians" as hypocrites. The very reason you will see me put "christian" in quotes today, and uncapitalized, is because most professing "christians" are not Christian at all, they are not saved. That is not a judgement by me, but based on the Word of God to which we were given for knowledge. We are suppose to read it, and study it, then make corrections in OUR lives according to what it says, but people read two words... "believe" and "grace" and that is all they know, yet think they know enough; they refuse the words that are mentioned, in one way or another, more that those... "love" and "change".

The "christian" looks worse over time. Maybe it's because of the garbage food we are feeding our spirits, like reality shows, murder mysteries, court dramas, soap operas (both TV, and facebook), and the likes. Remember that, " you are what you eat" is a Biblical teaching on spiritual growth and development.

WEDDING CEREMONY PRACTICE

seeing that there are priests that offer gifts according to the law: Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.
Hebrews 4:5-6

This year, my wife and I celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We were married by the justice of the peace the first time and I made miserable mistakes through the marriage; as one who was unsaved. We are looking at renewing our vows as two new born people entering into a newborn covenant with each other also, with Yeshua in the middle. We were talking to a pastor friend about a possible wedding and noted it would be very small. Since we are each others very best friend, we may walk with each other down the isle. I asked if there would be any need of a practice, as it will be such a small wedding. The pastor said that practice is mainly for the wedding party, so they have it right. Read More…

PARILOUS TIMES

“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be... lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness”
2 Tim 3:1-5

“Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.”
1 John 2:15

“I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot:... because you are lukewarm,... I will spit you out of my mouth. Because you think, I am rich, and increased with goods; and know not that you are wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:... anoint your eyes with eye-salve, that you mayest see.”
Rev 3:15-18

Why can’t the church see what is so clearly written? The people of the second beast have created an image that all worship. Can’t we see that loving, and spending more time in, the things of the world is an abomination to God? TESTING OF THE CHURCH

Many teach and believe that there will be a great testing of the church; but that time is yet to come. I contest that the time is here now.

When one reads the Bible we see that our love for God shows through our works in keeping His laws (Ex 20:6, Jn 14:15, 21). We also know that the church, being the bride of Christ, will not spend more time in the things of the world than with God (1 John 2:15).

The church is under a full blown trial and testing. Read More…
