WHEN WE ARE CONVERTED

In the book of Acts is the church to which Christ intended, yet we don't see that today. Those thing were a witness of the signs in which we should have following us who believe, but they are not following us in this Laodicean age. Laodicea has two problems: they think they are rich, which is to say rich in the things of God, being salvation from destruction and of knowledge of the things that are of the Kingdom of Adonai. The other problem is that they don't know. They don't know that they are wretched, which is to say, they don't compare themselves with the light of Christ but rather with each other; as Paul had said, "O wretched man that I am". They don't know they are naked, which is the sign of sinfulness. They don't know they are poor, which is to say they are not "saved" and do not have the knowledge of God.

We see in 2 Timothy 3, it is very possible to have a form of Godliness and lack the power of the Holy Spirit; which is where we are today. When I speak of "we", I mean all of us as I don't see the signs following us. We also see that it is possible to learn yet never have the knowledge. It is possible for us to study and learn scripture, learn many truths of what was written and spared for us and not have knowledge of what is real, maybe because of a lack of true seeking after the Messiah.

When we look at Matthew 7:21, we see a majority, being the "many" that will say vs. the "few" that will find, we see a majority which will "think" they know Yeshua as King of kings. These many will look like Acts. They will be teaching, they will be casting out demons, and they will be performing wonders. They look like they are having an Acts experience, but they receive a rejection notice. I see two problems with this group: they look like Acts, doing the many wondrous signs of Act, but missing the most important, which is to say, they are missing the bringing of the multitudes to baptism in Yeshua. We also see that Yashua calls them workers of iniquity; which is, they are lawless and do not keep the commandments of Adonai.

Looking at Deuteronomy 28, we see the blessings and cursing of the land and country for the following of YHWH's commands and statutes or for not following. Even for those who don't understand who the "children of Israel" are, in chapter 29, we read that these are extended to those who are not the children also. Which are we seeing? We are not seeing the blessings, yet many believe these laws no longer exist. Because, Yeshua came as the Lamb and now High Priest, nailing the ceremonial law to the cross, even if we understand the truth, we fail to follow either the Ten Commandments, or the statutes which Adonai gave us; thus receiving the curses.

With this knowledge we should examine ourselves honestly. We are not “filled” with the Spirit, we only think we are and do not know that we are not. This may cause you but “buck” but look at this just a moment; for if we say we ARE filled but do not see these sign, then we only fool ourselves. Sure, we may see a wonder or two, we may even think we are speaking in a spiritual language when we pray. Yet the disciples did more wonders than we, before they were filled with the Spirit of YHWH. And with all these wonders they did, Yeshua looks at Peter and says, “WHEN you are converted”. We saw that conversion in Acts. Do we see the signs that were promised to follow? Don’t compare our wonders with what we see in the world or compare it with what Adonai showed us; we have not see them. YHWH is not slack on His promises, what He said He will do, He will do. Therefore, if we do not see, what we see in Acts, which is the signs which are to follow, then we are not filled with the Spirit of YHWH; for He is still guiding us to the knowledge, He’s still training us.

While we search the scriptures for learning of the truth, are we gaining knowledge of the truth? Are we, in all our motions, diligently trying to build upon the Kingdom of YHWH? When we look at ourselves, do we compare with those around us, or do we compare ourselves with the light of Christ, having drawn ourselves ever closer to Him? This is how Paul compared himself, as he said, "I'm the least of all the disciples; the least, of the less, of all saints; the chief of sinners; and a wretched man". When it comes down to it, we are not seeing the signs follow us either. Therefore, we must continue to examine ourselves, the doctrine which we believe, the paganism we still follow, what we are actually seeking in our lives, what is truly first in our lives, and how we look in the light of Christ.

Understanding all this, I’m hearing Yeshua say to us, “when you are converted, you WILL see these signs”
