BIBLICAL EXAMINATION OF LAODICEA PEOPLE? - PART 15/19

A Self-Examination so that we can come into a closer walk that God desires us to be at.

LUKEWARM PEOPLE only do what is necessary to keep themselves from feeling too guilty. They only want to do the bare minimum, to be "good enough" without too much being required of them. These are those who ask:
"How far can I go before it's considered a sin?"
"How much do I have to give?"
How much time should I spend praying and reading my Bible?"

Instead they should be asking:
"How can I deep myself pure as a temple of the Holy Spirit?"
"How much can I give?"
"I wish I didn't have to go to work, so I could pray and read Scripture longer"

1 Chronicles 29:14
14 But who am I, and who are my people, That we should be able to offer so willingly as this? For all things come from You, And of Your own we have given You.

Matthew 13:44-46
44 "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid; and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field. 45 "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls, 46 who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it.
